This pre-Inca civilization ruled southern Peru, northern Chile and a large part of Bolivia. Famous is the 'sun gate' and this 'sunken courtyard'. According to Erich von Danicken it was a city created by aliens and Broznansky believed the city to be 17,000 years old, but more likely is that the Aymara ancestors build this city around 400 BC.
