It took two days and one night in which we faced eight meter high waves, to reach the San Blas archipelago. We decided to chill out for two days before sailing the last stretch to Colon. I did steer the boat, but only for 15 minutes or so before sea-sickness forced me to hang over the railing and enjoy my food for the second time.
